My name is Roberto Elvira Mathez and I’m going to be the instructor for the Fall semester of 2021. I’m a PhD Candidate at the Graduate Center, CUNY, and I have studied before in Stockholm, Sweden, Porto, Portugal, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. I research contemporary southern cone literature and translation. I have published two short story books, Tras el Reflejo and Tú y yo y las primeras lluvias, and translations from Portuguese and Norwegian into Spanish, as Spanish to English.
